Closeout Purchase
By Tascione A.

Review Posted 06/13/2022
Basically, I bought this for two reasons a Honda engine and competitive price since it is a closeout of the model.
It performs well, although compared to my previous pressure the hose and connection fittings are of lesser quality.

I waited until I used this enough to leave a fair review. It gets used once a week to clean mud off of dirtbikes along with normal home owner use. I bought it to replace a troybilt 2700psi vertical shaft pressure washer that lasted for 8 years. I needed a simple gas powered washer with minimal frills. This sprays water fine which is what I use it for. It vibrates a lot, it will dance around as you use it. When putting handle on noticed that the hex cutout for the bolt was stamped 1/4" off center so had to tighten with two wrenches, probably shouldnt have passed quality control. The soap hose from the tank to the pump was pulled off the nipple and 12" too long. I had to cut it and supply hose clamps to attach it. The wand holder is a joke, no matter how you position the wand it either falls out or drags on the ground. I tried bending the sheet metal for a better grip but gave up. The nozzle ends will vibrate out of the rubber grommets that they are stored in, and the soap bottle cap will constantly pop off and shake the soap out as you are washing. As far as the actual washing, with just water it works fine. The pressure is fine and the engine starts easy and runs great. It is lower priced and you get what you pay for.

BE275HA Starts Easy But Shakes Severely
By Randol D.

Review Posted 09/11/2021
First the good: It starts very easily and in idle it is smooth with little vibration. The bad: once you engage the trigger on the sprayer it begins to vibrate and shake violently and literally goes in circles. The intensity of the shaking increases with the particular nozzle being used, with the black soap and the white 45 degree nozzles having little vibration, but the yellow 15 degree and red zero degree being the worst. BE was kind enough to send a different set of nozzles with slightly larger aperatures. PSI dropped just a bit but the shaking reduced by 60-70 %, so as to not be so extreme. One variable in this is altitude and BE does offer an 'High Altitude Kit' to modify the needle valve in the carburator throat to allow more air. *I have to compliment BE Customer Support as they were very helpful and accessible in resolving the issue. 9 stars for the fantastic Customer Support.

Never Was Right

I have written 3 previous reviews on this machine. 4 years later, I will share the following.
Plain and simple, it performs, runs and cleans. Chassis is good, pump is strong. Hose connections are meh...Do yourself a favor, Go with a quick connect type instead.
After getting my second unit, (first was damaged, see previous reviews) the replacement needed adjustment and leaks oil constantly. I never pursued returning the second one bc once you put gas and oil in them, they’re yours. I thought it was just an overfill but over time I noticed it just never stopped. It collects all in the pan and seeps down one of the bolts that hold the motor to the chassis. I can only imagine there is a bad Internal motor seal from the word go. For a $400 purchase, I got had.... twice. My order was doomed from the start. I store this thing with cardboard beneath it to catch the constant drips. Also have to top off the oil every single time I use it. What a bust, do not buy this machine and honestly I would not order from this site again. One bad unit I can accept as a bad break, but 2 is unacceptable. I’m about to cut my losses and get rid of this leaky problem.

Expert Response
Dear Eric, First and foremost thank you for your purchase of the BE275HAS 2700 PSI Pressure Washer and all 4 reviews you have written. The unit did come with a manufacturer warranty that would have covered all the issues with the unit. The Honda engine included a 2-year warranty and could have been taken to any local Honda Service center to be diangosised and fixed. Unfotunatly since the unit was purchased in 2016 the warranty has expired. You can take it to a local mechanic to find where the leak is coming from, it could be as simple as a seal that is causing it to leak. Honda engines are very easy to service and it should be a minor fix. We are sorry and wish there was more we can do for you to solve this issue.

Over an year ago I was given this pressure washer by my brother as a gift. It started from just for home duties and minor car details at home to to make an long story short till this day i used it 24 times in the last week. I call a that a regular, average week for me.
No problems, tuned it up one time since I've had it and it pays my bills now. I'm satisfied.

Me again... I am a proponent of customer reviews, so as I discover things, I'm going to keep submitting them on this unit. I feel like this is particularly helpful to future buyers especially when trying to make their decision and I hope some these comments get back to the manufacturer as well.
Latest update on this unit... not damaged as I mentioned before, GOOD.
Went to connect the pressure wash hose to the pump and the position of the pump, (which is connected to the motor), was such that the threaded connection on the pump was too close to the metal tube frame to square up the threaded ferrule on the wash hose. I was able to loosen the motor mounting screws and slide the motor as much as it would allow (maybe 3/8"). After doing this, the spray hose will connect, but just barely and only with a little force on the hose and threaded plastic ferrule. Perhaps a different type of hose with a smaller ferrule would work better.
Again, I put this on the manufacturer. How is there no quality control check on something like this before it is packaged? Furthermore, why on earth would you put the threaded connection directly in the way of an obstacle that prevents easy connection to the pump? These kinds of adjustments should not have to be made on a brand new unit. Stayed tuned... I'll be back after I use it.
