Briggs & Stratton 20458 Reviews & Ratings
Good Unit

Borrowed one of these units and used it for about a week with no trouble with almost constant use. I will be purchasing one soon.
The only down side is that the fuel tank is too small for the unit. Generally get about 20 minutes of run time out of a tank of fuel and it likes fuel.

Starting tips?

I like the job it does but I hate having to start the motor...it is very difficult. Suggestions would be appreciated.
PWD RESPONDS: Squeezing the spray trigger and letting water run through the unit before trying to start it chases the air out of the pump & prevents vapor lock/hard starting.
If you use fresh gas instead of gas that's been sitting around for weeks the engine will be easier to start.

Alas, I finally own a great pressure washer and I'm too weak to start it most of the time. I can do one start every few hours. I am left handed, but do do not have a rotator cuff on that side. Ive tried it right handed, but cannot do it. Have to have someone else start it.

Great Deal!!!!

Just received my Briggs and Stratton Model 20458 pressure washer and it was delivered a day earlier than quoted and it was a breeze to assemble and get running.
The only down side is that it's a gas hog. I only washed our back patio, 4 chairs and two tables and I had to refill it 3 times. On the up side, I like the fact that the inlet and outlet ports are parallel to the ground, keeping them from getting damaged by rolling the unit over uneven ground.
But, it works like a champ and and I would recommend this unit to any DIYer!
