I recently visited the headquarters of Pressure Washers Direct.com outside of Chicago. I was thrilled to see that the pressure washer that the staff use to clean their warehouse was the Kranzle K399TST. The Pressure Washers Direct staff can select from hundreds of different models for their own use, but they picked the Kränzle K399TST.
Why do I talk about the K399TST in a review on the K499TST? Only to point out that they are the same machine, the only difference is that the K499TST is a 20A, 110V unit thus it must be on a 20A dedicated circuit, so you can't plug it in anywhere like the K399TST. However, with the K499TST, since you have five more amperes in power, you get 25% more cleaning power over a K399TST.
Like the K399TST, what distinguishes the K499TST from the competition are the unique capabilities of the Kränzle pump, the uncompromising German top quality manufacturing standards, plus the high performance cleaning that the K499TST delivers from combining the utility of the rotary nozzle with high pressure soap.
These features coupled with the convenience of a built-in hose reel and the auto on/off with 30 time delay make the K499TST the top performer among 110V pressure washers. No wonder the staff at Pressure Washers Direct.com picked its sister unit, the K399TST, to use in their own facility.

My First Impression Of The K499TST

I used the pressure washer for the first time today and it solved all the issues I had with other pressure washers I've owned. No more struggling with the pressure hose. The hose reel system works effortlessly.
It's easy to wrap the electric cord around the built in bracket too. This machine is quiet. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the machine is, but the four wheel design makes it easy to move and very stable. This is a high quality, well engineered machine. I'm glad I got it.
I bought some quick connects from PWD and they make attaching the hose to the gun almost effortless. I also attach a foam canon to the gun and its super easy to switch between the foam canon and the lance.

We purchased this pressure washer to replace an old upright commercial washer. It is wonderful. Compact, easy to move around and really does the job.

My Kranzle Quadro 499 TST just arrived and I fired it up for the first time. Wow! is all I can say.
It's made with exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The unit has plenty of power for just about any task. This four wheel model is really nice and stable, and it doesn't tip over whenever you're pulling on it.
While it is a bit expensive the old adage applies here that "you get what you pay for". If this model fits in your budget, get it and you won't be disappointed.

I own one and I love it. it has just the right amount of pressure and cleaning power.
I have had numerous gas makes and models, but this is the best unit I have ever bought. No more gas models for me!

Hello - the Kranzle 499TST washer I recently ordered from you arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, the shipper ignored the markings on the box and laid it on its side, and most of the pump oil leaked out. Pg 40 of the manual says to use "Motor Oil: Castrol 10 W-60 SAE halfsynthetic oil", quoted verbatim. I believe that oil is full synthetic, but regardless, I can't find it locally anywhere. Can you recommend an alternative oil I could use that might be more readily available?
